Foundation of Mental Strength - Peak State

It is at this point where we start to focus on our personal standard of excellence. What will be demand of ourselves? What personal responsibility will we uphold? What is your Peak State?


Peak State:


When you show up to compete at your best, what does it look like (body, posture etc), feel like (emotional state) and sound like (internal dialogue)?


Before a game or training what external environment (rituals, routines, physicality) have you created so that whatever external events come your way you are still able to perform at peak?


What internal environment have you created so that whatever internal events come your way (nerves, doubt, worry) you are still able to perform at peak?


Peak State is about creating awareness of your identity (at your best), a personal standard of excellence that you can demand of yourself, practice and replicate time and again so that you are able to show up consistently to perform at peak under all circumstances - always.


Over time our internal resource, built on self knowledge of who we are now and who we will become, built on our deliberate actions, becomes stronger and stronger until it is an unshakeable belief in self. Confidence that has been built moment by moment, an undeniable resource accessible always.
